Starting with geocaching

I’ve recently started geocaching. This is certainly not a new thing, the site is celebrating its 25th year! I do remember looking at it years ago but I think at the time I would’ve needed to buy a GPS device. Although that doesn’t seem quite right as my phone would’ve had GPS. Anyway, I didn’t sign up and I’ve only been doing it a week or so. It’s fun and I’ve found some places locally I never knew of.

Here are a few photos of the caches I’ve found - including one on the top of Schiehallion munro!

A person is holding a rusty ammunition box labeled CARTRIDGES SMALL ARMS atop a rocky mountain with a scenic view of a valley, lake, and mountains in the background.A hand is holding a small, worn white plastic container outdoors near some logs.A person is holding a shiny, metallic hexagonal nut near some greenery on a paved path.A small blue container is nestled among roots and leaves at the base of a tree.A small black container labeled Official Geocache is open, revealing a stack of papers inside, placed on a stone surface surrounded by grass.
